I think I know what your problem is.

Your username on Genie or O2 must include the email domain in the format:

username@o2.co.uk or username@genie.co.uk

I guarantee that it does work (for me at any rate).

I have my o2 account working. DO NOT USE POP3 AND SMTP IN LETTERS....Use the followiung IP address's for pop3 and smtp

I have tested with pop3.o2.co.uk and mail.o2.co.uk set as POP and SMTP servers on the T68i, and both work.
