Hi have had my T65 upgraded to R5A010 haven't had any reboots as yet but only got it done yesterday and don't really use it a lot. On a side note I have noticed that every phone I have sent in for a F/W upgrade has had a new System Connector fitted, whether it be an Ericsson or a Nokia phone. What bugs me about that is they then have to open the phone and it ends up full of dust on the inside of the Display. This has happened on the T65. Did not notice that they had done this until after I got back to the Office.

Your phone restarts because it simply crashes! As it can't recover, it just reboots itself. That's annoying, but less than if it wouldn't restart... Anyway, it BUGS!

it does a complete restart... shutdown itself and then start up again... you don't see if it has restarted if you don't have any PIN code for your sim card.

it can also be the sim card reader that causes the restarts, so it doesn't necessarily have to be caused by the software.

I know this has been stated several times before, but after a SW upgrade, you might have to do a master reset to get it to work properly... Best thing to do is to make a backup of all contacts and settings, do a master reset and then restore everything again. The SC can do this for you, but will probably charge you for it.

Don't know if backup is possible via wap sync, but a data cable and official SE software definetly works.
