Why can't you give the phone to charity?

I think I'm with Ayush here, I think the destruction of a perfectly good phone is a pointless waste, no matter how therapeutic!
Give it away to a mate, of even give it away free here on Esato, you could make a competition out of, who can make up the funniest limerick or something!

put the phone in a tubing tube tat is filled with fireworks or any thing that explodes.. make sure to put a couple of cheap lighters in... the gas in the lighters will definatly explode... if u dont see ur pone in the tube after explosion... try checkin the area about 5metres away...
