Yes, i suppose. But if i couldn't afford one, i would just buy a cheap one, which i have in the past (i mean really cheap) and then invest the money into something larger that isnt of everyday out and about use that could get damaged, if you see what i mean

@mark - we dont usually laminate our phones ourselves, but basically what is done is a special transparent plastic cover is used which shrinks when heated. The phone is placed in the cover and when hot air is blown over the cover, it shrinks and wraps the phone tightly

its called 'shrink wrapping' not laminating, to make it less confusing!
