does davinci support changing the sms tone in the speaker and the earpiece??
I heard that the k700 plays the tune in both speaker simultaneously
i know SEtool does change them both but ive heard of software which only changes one of them.

Currently, DaVinci only supports changing the sms sound for the back speaker (midi sound file that is). But soon they might support the ear speaker too (amr sound file that is)
Btw, SE Tool did support both files, correct - but always remember that this isn't done by itself... you always will need to have the sound in both file versions in order to change them... no matter done formerly by SE Tool or soon by DaVinci
