Definitely impossible. Once you've altered the pixels in an image and flattened it, the original information of the pic is totally lost.

It's like editing a a text file (with notepad, wordpad, word, etc.), like changing an entire paragraph and saving it. If you send the edited file to someone else he will have no way of getting the original message that was written there before you changed it.

Nope, Not possible, unless the image was saved without flattening the layers (and the white part was in a different layer than the image)

cool, well here goes, sum websites were u van put pics up have limits of lets say 500kb or 1mb

but my problem is that my 5.1 mp cameras lowest letting is 1mp but the file is about 550-600 kb, how can i make this smaller using photoshop?

Open your file with Photoshop...

In the Image menu select image size. In the dialog box choose a dimesion that is easily divided in half and change it. This should make the entire image half as big, and should take up half as much memory.

Then to be safe select File > Save For Web. This should bring up a dialog that tells you what file type you are saving as and how much memory the file will take up. You can adjust some settings to make the file as small as you want.
