real longhorn beta i reckon we'll see only towards the end of year,
i heard that m$ has said they will release a pre beta soon (*of longhorn) .

Not p2p, I'll be getting longhorn from MSDN. The first beta should be available to developers in about the middle of June.

M$ reckon that they're going to release another beta to a more general audience in Q3 or Q4 this year.

Yep, I'll be singing it's praises (not very likely) or slagging it off to hell (much more likely) on here
