H m m m . . . Here in Manila that 'thing' is a common knowledge amongst local buyers, specially if they buy 'old/vintage' units. It just means (here) that it's a 'reconditioned/replacement/class A' mobile/accessories-batteries etc. I do remember that when I bough a replacement Nokia battery then, the label says that: Made by Nokia! So goes with other old branded mobiles. That's just er, a common sight here!

The phone was not refurbished or repaired by Ericsson. The product lable was not by Ericsson either.
