SATs put you into a group, if you get in the lower groups the max you can get on GCSE is a C, which will effect chances of jobs and stuff. And lvl 7 is good enough for me,

how is level 7 not good? take my advice Glenny, Level 7 is great, if you can get level 7 you will easily make it into the top sets

Hold on level 7 is good.
I took my sats last year and 7 is the best level you can get for science in the SATS,
I acieved the highest levels you can get, 7 for science, 7 for english and 8 for maths. You cant get higher levels in the SATs.
7-7-8 is the best you can get in the year p SATs.
This enabled me to be put in to top sets for my gcse's now.
And it is good for getting a job because it will be easier to get better gcse's if you get good SAT results.

It doesnt work like that, the SATs do put u into sets but they are hardly set in stone ffs! SAT's do nothing for you, its just so that the school can gauge how well ITS doing, you ask your teachers and they'll say the same.
SATs are nothing to worry about, if you get put into a lower set and you're producing A and B grade work you'll be moved up obviously, the way you are talking you're stuck in the lower set forever which is absoloute bull.
So chill out, like I said SATs are easy, GCSE's are when you worry because they count for yourself, SATs are not qualifications they're there for the school not you. GCSE's are where it matters.
