26k color screen or is it just a typo error for 262k? imagine how dull the screen would be for 26k... the s750i and s700i thingy just proves how SE is growing more and more influencial these days...

The aspect ratios of resolution and physical diagonal length don't match, at least not if the screen is rectangular, which it is.
I'm pretty sure a screen of that size is likely to be QVGA.

camera / options / image settings / image size
choices are
120*160 qqvga
240*320 qvga
640*480 vga
1280*960 sxga
SXGA is only selectable for the back camera and with the 1.3 megapixel lens exposed ( slider open)

I think the settings ur talking about there are only for the resolution of photographs taken with the camera, not of the screen
