Btw I paid 300 for the phone from the TM store and got a 200.00 credit on my TM account. Net cost to me was 100.00. I now have a T68m->t68i for 100 bucks brand new. I have been with VS/TM for 3 years thats why I got a 200.00 credit toward the purchase. I am happy. Try to take advantage ofthis phone while it's available guys. You wont be disappointed.

I am a T-Mobile Dealer, the T68i will not be relased on the T-Mobile network. They had a lot of problems with the T68m so they are not gonna pick up the T68i. But they are picking up the T300. T-Mobile ordered about 50,000 units of the T300. So the best bet, get a T68m while you still can and upgrade it when it becomes avalible.

the T-mobile forum at howardforums states that they are indeed selling the T68i, it seems in fact that the T-mobile stores in california already have them in display..

I got my t68i for T-Mobile the other day from Amazon (Before they stopped selling them) for a net cost of $50. That included a $200 rebate from Amazon and a $50 rebate from T-Mobile.

The guy in the T-Mobile store was really surprised that I had one already when I went by to see if they carried any holsters for it yet. I can't remember the date he said they were going to get them in stock was but it's sometime in the next week or so.

It's a great little phone. I wish there was stronger signal in my house but my office and everywhere else is great. The sound quality even with a weak signal is rock solid for me as well.

I got mine in the mail from Amazon this week, too -- same deal. So far, so good (except some problems configuring the Bluetooth, but that's my fault).

There were problems initially with getting onto the web with the phone -- when I called T-Mobile customer support, the guy in the Wireless Data Group said they'd had calls all day from Amazon people trying to get on the web, and walked me through the setup.

You guys got the deal of the year on Amazon - congrats! Worth a little hassle I'd say. Too bad it isn't available anymore...

Great news, jamesliu, where did you read that? I might just go for it, especially after reading here that T-Mobile will soon be offering MMS on their network (before Cingular or AT&T)

I got the same amazon deal. At first they had it showing the phone for -$150. 2 x $200 rebates and a $50. I print the rebates before they took them down, but after re-reading the second $200 rebate it says between 9/4 - 9/16. So it won't work o well still a good deal. Bestbuy, circuit city, etc are also selling the phone with att service for $25-$50 w/ 1yr $40 a month contract.

BTW anyone using Tmobile in washington having problems with the T-Zone service? Mine gives me an error. "gprs failed" then "Wrong Acess point name (APN)"
