Had a go at the w/e using Autosol, metal polish I used to use on my chrome bmx as a kid. Came up OK (screen that is, not my bike). Still a few marks so might give it a second go but overall, quite pleased.
Now to get a decent screen protector!

Just a little warning about using metal polish - don't use it too much as it will make your screen thinner. Just use enough to remove the scratches.

I just change my T610's casing 3 days back so i can experiment toothpaste on my T610 screen and see if it works. I ll post the conclusion l8er:-).

I pressed Displex into service to alleviate a rather nasty scratch on my S700's screen, but it left my screen with a rather norrible blemish on it.
