Some people call places like India and Indonesia as "the third world", yet they always seem to get SE phones sooner than the rest of us..

Good job, post some photos man !

The Asian region is ONE of the continents where new fone model releases hits the market - first. Way too ahead with that of North America, USA for example.

Exactly, and people say that the US is ahead, yet they're usually last to get the phones, and the majority of US phone owners do not even use their phones to the full potential.

I hear SMS is only just starting to become popular in the US.

@etaab - Yup, they say that they are lagging behind with communication technology, say mobile fones in this case . . . Have you ever wondered why their FBIs and CIAs are considered one of the BEST in the world. We have a story here in Manila a few years back, when President Bush paid a visit - 2003. Our National Security Adviser was with a huddle with then Condoleeza Rice, his US counterpart wheter to transport Bush from one place to his next itinerary (though only having a short distance travel) via car (Cadillac) or chopper. Then our Secretary called our National Police chief via his Nokia 9210i using the fone's - Loudspeaker to set all routes blocked from public vehicles, Condoleeza Rice was really at AWE when she saw the conversation going, said our National Adviser . . . She hasn't seen a Nokia 9210i in the States, she uttered.

@etaab - I agree! I am still wondering if the P910i was already released in the US My Uncle, said (this was 6 months ago) that he has ONE of the latest fone models in California . . . and mind you, it's just a - P800 !

I think its more likely he is a technophobe, rather than the US just getting the P800.

Remember, the P800 is a 2002 phone, the US isnt as behind as 3 years.

I spoke to two different shops in the UK, the Link said it will be released on June 1st and Phones 4 U said on the 19th May. I'd say go for the mean of these two dates for a UK release.

@JN It's not that the states get mobiles years later than the uk, for instance I'll be able to get the K750 on May 25 from a shop in New York. The problem is that not too many are phone savvy here. You'd be suprised how many people I run into that think their service provider made their handsets. No one was overly exited about my K700 when I got it, I heard "a phone is just a phone" quite abit.
