This just gets better!!! Ive just spoken to Sony Ericsson.... they said... the repair centre has my blown up charger (i asked SE to send it back to me so i can show them it has the SE logo etc on the charger), so they said ask the repair centre to send you the charger... i call them up and they tell me SE askd them 2 send it 2 sweden! so i call SE up again... and they insist they did not request them 2 send it 2 sweden and i should call the repair centre again... which i do and tell them wot SE told me.... and guess what... they say they were told by SE 2 send it 2 sweden... so i call SE up and use some strong words and finally they admit 2 getting it sent to sweden... and will arrange for it 2 be sent back to me.... now i gota wait n see if i get the one i sent to them... or another one!!!

Good to hear. As a responsible manufacturer, they take care of their customers, eventually.

Glad you had a good result, but SE handled it rather poorly, didn't they.
I had a charger problem, too, but luckily my charger didn't blow up and I didn't need to exchange heated words with SE
I bought a T300 from Australia and brought it home to NZ. The charger was "Made in Thailand by Delta" which later was found to be faulty as the casing could come off and expose all the wires. Safe indeed.
SE was aware of it and released replacement details on their website. (I don't think it's listed there any more though.)
