Its useless comparing a 3g smartphone phone to a non-3g phone without smartphone abilities.
I think you ar e very wrong at this point dear eastonian. Nokia 6681 is not a 3G phone. The phone you are thinking on is 6680 witch is a 3G phone. It would be more correct to say that its difficult to comepare this phones because the K750i is a phone and the 6681 is a Smartphone (Symbian software)

Oops! I thought the 6681 was a variant of the 6680 for different markets! Stupid nokia naming!

its strange they're launching the 6680 here in india, a market without 3g coverage. Shouldn't the 6681 have been a better choice?

WHY is there no way a non-smartphone canīt beat a smartphone??
My brother has a 6600 (i know itīs not really hot of the press anymore but still) Itīs chunky, sedate and really not that useful for me at least. Sure i can install apps, hoo-rah.. 101 world clocks in different shapes and forms and games (which i donīt play on anything less than 17" screens) So yes, a non-smartphone is very much capable of beating a S60 or P-series for my needs!
Actually the 6681 was a prime candidate for me this time, but Nokia sorted that nicely by pricing it 100 more than the K750, which really made it an easy choice for me.

yeah but the 6681 has EDGE as far as I know so it clearly wins the data speed category, plus I am sure it has, or can have a much more capable internet browser and email app. So if you care at all about internet and email the Nokia is the better decision.
Still I would tend to lean towards the K750i. Given my experience with Nokia smartphones, they aren't as easy to use as I'd expect and they are all clunky. The K750i is just so much more sleek and sexy. Plus as already stated it is cheaper.

Also, living in Sweden EDGE is about as useful as WIFI in the Mojave desert..

Of course thatīs subjective and applies to me, but still..
