I have noticed some changes, menus and picture browsing is much faster than before (R2AE). Also, when I choose the 'short cut' menu, rather than seeing the list of short cuts it actually displays the main screen with a large arrow in the background. More to come.

I had a HELL of a time updating my K700i on davinci, kept getting 'unable to write to block 212', 'upgrade failed'. Soon after I figured out why. Below is an email I recieved from Davinci support which lead to my successfull upgrade to R2AY.

do next procedure:
1. Press Recover Button, certificate will be flashed to phone
2. Flash Transform Bin Cid29 to CID36
3. Flash Main and FS files
4. If main and fs flahes successfully - make finalization
Thats all
you have problems because make recovery after transform bin and make flashing after recovery - this sequences Wrong ! usually you need to start from Stage 2 which I described if stage 2 failed need to start all from stage 1.
and don't make finalization while your phones is dead!
Finalization can be done only with working phone

This surprises me as code memo has always worked on all other releases. Wtf have they done to affect this little mini app? If this app is goosed then there is no point me upgrading from R2AE033 as I use this all the time.....damn you chip and pin !!!
