Thats probably very true, of course they will want stock for new customers, but exisiting customers are important too, in todays phone market all networks offer cross net minutes so now that is not an issue with staying with a particular network, I could quite easily go to orange, vodaphone or t-mobile and not worry about phone bill costs as all offer cross network minutes etc.

Its not like 2-3 years ago when if your friends and gf had one network you would go with the same one to keep costs down.

Having to threaten to leave a company just to get a good deal is sometimes a bit OTT, but thats life

They asked me why too, I found it quite strange - I just said that I'd fancied it for a while and he said he'd send me one in 7-10 days, a free upgrade and I didn't have to change from my £22.50/m tarrif.

I was quite worried that I might be sent the wrong phone, since i was ill when i phoned them and it seemed a little too easy, but it came Wednesday evening and all is well
