at wapster.nu you can download new screensavers to the upgraded t68, so I beleave you can change it.

Does anyone (especially Mr. wapster himself) know the maximum file size for the new animated gif screen savers?

because I have a wicked animated sex scene which I can't wait to have as a screen saver but it's 51k! I can reduce it to 30k maybe is this ok?

p.s. if any one wants a copy lemme know - its hilarious!

Are people geting confused with backgrounds and screensavers? I have R2B and you can change\download the background pic but the screensaver is always the white on black digital clock. I believe you will be able to change the colour of this in the MMS release (if and when we get it).
As for animated gifs I heard you had to limit them to 30k if you wanted the animation to be smooth.

my version is r2b013 but there is no screen saver option, i guess this version is the one w/o the mms feature ..... still waiting for week 20 when mms version comes out. cheerz

orang3 -> not very sure abt r2d version, btw my version is just updated abt 3 weeks ago and since then havent call back to sp to check. u can call sp and ask them abt the latest software they have.
btw what the diff between the r2b and r2d version ?? r2d with screensaver option???

So far, the T68 does not seem to have an option to switch off the screen saver. Most probably to expand the battery life of the phone. This post was posted from a WAP device
