Flashes you had were fine. Main firmware has 'Zones' aswell as the FS. Most teams use Zone1 (EMEA1/EU1) main firmware. Can be used with any EU FS.......no problem.

About your error - hmmmmm

Try another FS file, any EU/EMEA one for the moment, we can soon add mre languages.

Or, flash with R3K, change the CDA to a generic or o2 on and then simply use the Online update (SEUS) to get R3M.

But then i'll get the wrong language on the phone Danish (DK) is only in EU_4, so wouldn't it cost me more credits, when i have to flash to the right language

How do i do the CDA/O2 thing? I've allready flashed to R3K without doing anything in CDA...

I still has one credit left...

I am looking for a file called S700_FS_US1_generic_R3M008_CID29.BIN

Hi,

Let me share my experience with Davinci Online Update. I was having the same trouble described by LeskiL as I posted here:

But it sent a email to Davinci Team and they answered the following:

"... to flash R3M in S700 need to follow next steps.
Select main and Fs flash files, NOT Mark Finalziation Box
and MARK cid ignoring box. Then start flashing, phone must be successfully flashed with Main and FS files. Then Mark Finalization box. Main and Fs boxes must be unchecked. Press Flash button. Finalization process will be started - you need online connection for it, this will take not more than 3 minutes, configuration files will be written."

I did it, but without any success. This time, instead of stopping on the first block to be flashed, it flashed almost 50% of the 255 blocks of R3M firmware and it stopped with the same error (0x005556).
I tryied to get back to Davinci's R3K firmware but, i was getting the same error again. At that time, my phone was dead.
After all that disaster, i found an old firmware R3B0032 that i had downloaded months ago from a SETool web site. That saved my phone. I got de main and de fs file from SETool flashed with Davinci's client 13.23 without checking the "cid ignoring box". After that, i finalized with CDA set to 102310/49 R1A. After that I upgraded using the SE Online Update Service to R3K004.

Not the R3M version that i wanted, but better than the R3F version that i had before all that.

I really didn't understand what is wrong with Davinci's S700 files, but thank god i had that old R3B0032 firmware

Davinci really disapointed me

I was hoping to spend 1 credit to get R3M firmware, by i had to use it to get my phone back to work again.
