I had this happen to me on R1B. The phone was fine and the it started locking up exactly as you describe. I sent it in to have the firmware updated and be repaired and they ended up sending me a new T68 with R1C. Not sure what the problem was or why they just replaced the T68.

Well , i need to go to Ericsson Service Point , or where i have buy my T68 ?...

I think it's better if i go to Ericsson Service Point to do another update ...

Pad, I upgraded my phone today and I got version R2A013
When I tried accessing the wap menu, my phone froze. I took it back and they reflashed it.
Now everything works great.
Go back to the shop and have them reflash it

Do you need any documentation to show to the service center when upgrading? The reason I wonder is because my phone was bought in Dubai by my father (he lives there), but he forgot to give me everything that came with the phone except the charger, so I haven't got the receipt or the warranty card yet =(
