the activation process is so tedious coupled with the tariff of 0.10/kb........ i have a post paid connection and havin portal service activated and so i can surf only bsnl's site and charged if i download nything!!

But i heard hutch blockin some sites such as tagtag.com , so i guess Airtel is the only choice left amongst the gsm operators...

Don't activate BSNL GPRS. My friend was saying that its terrible. Speed is also not good and its too costly.

But the portal service is workin fine....and in the full gprs there is some problem in the billing procedure so in the first plan where the free limit is 5 mb. People are downloadin more than that and aren't charged a single penny... I have seen this with my own eyes workin on post paid..... But check this before you give it a try

hey is portl already activatd on postpaid ???

i m tryin 4m 3 mths 2 get it activatd on my bsnl prepaid ,bt no succes ???
even got setings,but no gprs "G" signal on my 6600 !!! So when cnect says cnecting only !!!
even talked 2 CC, abt 50 times,bt they hav many answers 2 read !!!
cn any1 help ???

dear u r too late 2 post the answer !
and that 2 u hav given answer like a CC executive,which generaly don work on bsnl !!!!esp prepaid !!! The fulproof procedur is in my topic of free bsnl gprs !!!
