There shouldn't be any need to take the battery out. Simply download the transform file, tick the main firmware field, ensure that finalization is not selected, and click flash. The software should prompt you to "power on shortly", which means just press the power button on the phone quickly (don't hold it to power the phone on). This should then flash. Once that has done, download the main and FS files, ensure both fields are ticked as well as finalization, and again, flash in the same way. It should be a piece of cake. Remember, even if it goes wrong, you won't break the phone. You can always flash again.
