Like the Z520? I think that idea isn't bad, it makes the phone stand out.

There's always the risk that it could look tacky though.

Black K750. Looks much better than half silver half black. My led's stay white all the time.

I seem to remember an add on for phones a while ago that you could put an led circuit into your phone around the keypad and when I rang or you recieved a text it would flash different colours. Had one on my Nokia 8210 and also for my T610 and T630. There were also housings with led's built into them and also batteries with led's in.

Very tack these days imo

The buttons glow white on the black one and blue on the silver one looking at the pictures.I think they both have white LEDs though and the blue colour comes from the light being filtered through the keypad rubber. The T610 has white LEDs but glows the same blue. Some series of se phones have blueish glow, some yellow, some lean to purple. It depends of manufacturer, it's not customisable, it has been discussed before here, search for 'keypad color' or so. This message was posted from a T610

u can put a sheet of coloured plastic under the keypad to change the colour of the background lights. Don't use tissue paper, it will absorb moisture and most ikely cause corrosion on the keypad and other damage.

Cellophane paper would do the job...
