Crappy British players? ExCUUUSEEE me. An 18 year old who kicks ass, and Henman who is THE best volleyer in the world. both are supported by statistics. I agree, we need more females but the male generation is getting better. Sure henman ain't the best but he's still up their with them.

I hope this doesn't turn into a Henman is good versus Henman is bad thread, or one of those DROOOOOL SHARAPOVA. Although, having seeing her get a ball out from her pants i do quite believe that a topic on her isn't a bad idea

Semi Finalists, male: Roddick, Henman, Hewitt, Federer.

Semi Finalists female: Serena, Venus, Sharapova, Clijsters.

Finalists male? Federer, and either Roddick or Henman
Semi women? Sharapova and Venus.

regards.

i can understand were people come from regarding tim henman

but at the end of the day he is british and we should support him whatever

no i dont think he will ever wn wimbledon but you never know

did anyone think liverpool would win the champions league from 3-0 down

no neither did i but they did

it is sport anything is possible

andrew murray is a talent so once tim henman bows out we have a great prospect for the future

good luck to all brits at wimbledon

Its a great bristish tradition to be rubbish at sport!

Until and unless a british player wins Wimbledon i will think like this.
Sorry but i have absolutely no faith in Tim Henman,he may be british and i do support him when it comes down to it but i don't think he has that extra something to win big...and that is pretty much my belief in all the current british line up...I think we need a different and seperate approach to this if we are ever going to win wimbledon.

i agree with you in many points if not all

but you never know

it is doubtful he will win it now

his best chance was when he lost to ivanesivic a couple of years ago

he is 30 now so not much chance

but andrew murray is 18 so has many years and he will get better

so a good chance in him in the next few years

Well Andrew murray has a chance to shine this year and show if he has any potential to cut it...you can usually tell if a player has that magic or not quite early on,as with Pete Sampras.

I gave up on Tim after that final match with Ivanasavich.

so did i

too many rain breaks and delays

it was his best chance and the best draw he had

the men have such a hard draw this year

If tim Henman got his serve together, he could step forward and volley easily, and would pottentially be in the top 5 again.
