I have tried this on my P905 and with WAP download get the response 'Cannot install - Error while downloading Jar file'.

When installing jad and jar files downloaded via PC If I install the jad file first I get the same error as WAP...

Installing jar file first that seems to go OK then the jad file wants to overwrite it???? If I give it permission we are back to the cannot instal..., If I don't the app seems to have loaded but I can't get any pics... ????

Anyone else had probs???

Cheers

Mick

I installed via the PC and only installed the .jar,
the app seems to be running fine having done it this way.

Sorry but what is this actually good for? Can you see the names of the streets as in a map? Can you find your way better than with a map? Can you do anything useful with it?

Well you don't always carry a map with you of wherever you are, do you?

I think this app looks great for these moments, when you just need to get your bearings.

Some GPS tie-in would be nice - I have asked the developer about this.

I don't use a proxy or port settings, I just use the 'user' for the username and passeword. This works on Tmobile in the UK

zol: I must admit, I haven't had a chance to try the app yet. I know for sure that google maps provide street names if you zoom in enough. But I don't know which zoom level the app requests, or whether the zoom can be user-defined.
