I have the K750i for about 2 weeks now, and with about 2 hours usage of the MP3 player while commuting to work everyday, aside from the regular sending of SMS and making phone calls, it takes anywhere from 2-2.5 days before the battery icon turns red.

Dodgy battery? Maybe, or maybe not. Give it 2 more weeks and then try to observe if the battery life has improved. If not, then it's time to take it to the service center.

I charged up my new 4th phone early evening on thursday for 2 hours only.

Have been listening to radio a couple of times, web browsing, used the bluetooth like a lot with a hands free, fair amount of phone calls. And playing with the camera and video recording.

Now it's sunday morning and it still has 52% charge. So i am very happy so far, and i got 2 batteries with my phone by mistake, so that was a bit of a bonus

So how much should i charge up my phone for when its about to die or is dead? lol

My phone is dying after two days by listening to da radio/mp3, takin pics and vids...only two or three times a day for a short while and NOT for hours!

......and by reading wot 'raw_knee' rote that he listened to mp3 for two hours and the batterty died 2.5 days later!...dats pretty good compared to mine

I received my phone last Thursday and diligently gave it a full 4 hours initial charge before using it. Since then I have taken probably 30 photographs, made/received 8-10 or so calls, and a similar amount of TXTs and have played a couple of MP3s, as well as the usual stuffing around with a new phone, sorting contacts list etc. This morning, Monday, still running on the initial charge the battery was reading 18%. So, I reckon the battery is pretty good so far.

In this K7501 Tips and Tricks thread there is some good discussion on battery charging protocols for the K750i too. Have a read, you might learn a thing or two ... I did.

I got my phone last week, charged it for around 3-3.5 hours first time, and it ran down quite a lot in the first day. I was going away for the weekend, so decided to charge it back up AND take my old K700 with me in case the K750 ran out.

Turns out I didnt need to. I charged the phone for the 2nd time on thursday night. Went away Friday morning, took a lot of pictures and videos over the weekend, as well as a few calls, and when I got home Sunday night the battery had 62% left .

I had it switched off while I slept, but this is still pretty impressive.

Here is a tip for battery to last longer (used it from P900)

Go to Settings>Connectivity>Data comm>Preferred Service. Then change to “GSM only”

This will extend the bat’s life about 20-30%. I think that when I first bought the phone this option was not available; I saw it after updated phone.

This way you are not disabling GPRS; you just stop the phone from always searching for the best GPRS signal; you establish GPRS as usual when sending MMS etc.

hey ! dun worry. juz go into the settings and change the brightness to 50%-60%. it works for me. now the batt last me for abt 2 days after full charged. its the brightness that takes up tons of the batt life. trust me.

The battery life of the K750i is extraordinary good.
I thought the S700i battery life was very good..but the K750i consumption is even lower ...Very satisfied..!!!!
