xxxvijeshxxx, connect the USB cable to the computer and phone and when detected, you will be able to find the mem stick in the (My Computer, Manage) Disk Management.
i formatted mine using FAT32, 4K blocks and works perfectly.

as for my case,
so far no problem using Sony 1GB hi-speed. Do not have any problem accessing any files on the external card even battery life remains 30%.
for Blank screen then reboot problems it did happend to me after high volume of GPRS activities. would suggest u reboot the phone because of the phone cache memory are full and the system will auto restart your phone just like my old P900.
So far no issue one the RAW or FAT32 format. been using RAW for sometimes and do not have any problem with it.

well I don't have a K750i or a memory stick pro duo, but I had a similar problem. I have a 1gb SD card and I filled it up with many games and applications. After some days my PDA does a hard reset (clears RAM memory and reïnstalls OS from ROM). I put back the backup and after a few days same problem. So I formated the SD card and re-installed the games and applications one by one. When I installed worms armageddon it did a hard reset. I intalled that game on the main ram memory and installed the rest of the apps and games on the memory card and I haven't had any crash yet.

I tried sandisk no problems there,
it still crashes on a daily basis when I use SONY MSD HIGH SPEED 1 GB
note it doesn't crash if I don't access the folders or camera

@darky - that would just be because of whatever problem with file system on the stick. more your data aside (on a computer) format the stick and put back the data. That ll fix it most probably.
