Is it just faster or have there been other updates? Maybe longer battery life.....Can anybody let us know what the improvements are? Thanks

Every time we get an update people say ooooohhh it seems faster!!

Well, i can confirm it is the same as it ever was, it always seems faster after a complete reset with all memory cleaned, no applications installed, no ttl fonts to load, and such.

Give it a week and its back so its old self but we can only hope that the already stable phone is a little more stable.

I really wish SE would tell us what the updates are for because i cant see a single thing thats different!

We risk our phones, and yes even our lives, every time we do an update in the hope that it wont crash half way though and corrupt the phone, but we should be asking why am i doing this?

I cant answer that question, i dont think many people can, so come on sony give us a clue!

Whats different? I cant see anything! But at least it still works!

Rob.

Don't fix it if it is not broken.

Yeah, dont fix it if it isn't broken.

So are you all telling, there is absolutely no Benchmarking tool to find out: if and what changes are there ?

Its a bit fast than R4A10. all apps and games installed. Battery life seems the same though.

Has anyone noticed that the actual organizer version is R5B01? As far as I know, the f/w version is defined by the organizer version. However, the CDA says R5A02.

@starla2112 good to hear that a P910a worked with this update. I fully intend to go through with this upgrade now...

I am in the middle of a big furniture swap and I had to completely pack up my room. As soon as i am able I will be updating firmware and installing new versions of lots of programs on my phone.
