> Charging K750i

I already have installed the drivers, but still there is no point. It syas charging and even yesterday i left it over night, the battery dropped down to ZERO. WTF? i was shocked. @ first when i got my first SE phone (K750i) i was xtremely impressed and i dont wanna hate it, but after what's happening, i don't have a good feeling. I don't get why.
As soon as i connect to my laptop or desktop PC, it says charging, i come back after 30 minutes, the battery life has decreased instead of increased. It's like uncharging it instead of charging.
Is it possible for the battery to be not operating the way it should, as in the actual problem is from the battery?
I remember reading somewhere on esato.com someone having the exact same problem as myne.
Any additional ideas is greatly appreciated.

Just go to a shop as mentioned before.
Explain your problem, I'm sure they will help you.
After all, it only takes 2 hours to charge.

The problem can be related to the PC. A lot of laptops have usb ports that don't supply a strong enough power for some devices (webcams,...).
If that's the case the phone uses more energy for the link with the computer than it actually receives to charge the battery.
Have you tried with the phone turnes off ?

well un4tunately i aint in london, and i wouldnt actually trust a shop down here to actually charge it for me.
k there is sumthing wrong. i just discovered somthing. i dunno if it worx with u guys, but it does with me.
i realised tht for the mobile to actually charge from the USB port, u actually have to be working on the computer. i know it sounds dumb, but it seems to be working with me. if i leave the computer and go somewhere, it wont charge, it says charging, but the percentage doesn't change. When i'm actually using it, every now and then, the percentage increases.
finally it strted to charge, i hope i dont get ny problems.
thnx to every 1 out there who helped me out.

Ok it took roughly 8 hours to charge from 0%- 87% from my USB port. And now it's dropping for no good reasons.
just as mentinoed before, not alota of power is given from USB, unlike the actualy charger adapter
just a thought....

I just have a question guys. Is it really normal that if your phone was already fully charged 100%, it still says "Optimized Charging"? thanks!

yes. what i mean is if the batt was already full, is there an indication that it is already full like it will appear "Full Battery" or "Full Charge" (not Optimized Charging)? or will the lightning icon on the battery icon will disappear?

USB charging is something of a mystery, I noticed the same with the K750i, took longer to charge (prob because less current) although the phone didnt hold the charge for as long as us when using the charger. Although it was also the same when I used the PC to charge up my smartphone too.
I was once told why it happens, but I have forgotten, I think the PC charging is simply used to get a quick boost and should be no replacement for proper charging.
One thing I did notice was chargin by PC screen said Charging, but stick it on charger it says optmized chargin!
