don't think so, as the SE PC suite gives you access to the phones memory, unless of course there is a third party prog out there.

I've tried bluetooth which works fine but its soooo slow at transfering files.

I don't have blueetooth on PC or a card reader - need to use the usb cable. Really is frustrating. Sony and Xp obviously don't like talking to each other properly.

Looks like nobodys got idea what could be wrong, becouse I am facing with the same problem. Everytime I disconnected K750i from USB programs starts working strange. Excel just hangs, explorer too, firefox is working normal... strange strange strange.

I format HDD and install Windows XP but it didn't help

Have u installed the drivers from the SE disc?? have a look at device manager in windows - any yellow question marks about? I very rarely use SE file manager at all, prefer to open memory card window and pc folder window and just drag n drop. I, m also on XP with K750i but never suffered from those probs, but as I say dont tend to use file manager. What type of file u moving? music, themes, large, small.

Are u disconnecting phone from cable whislt phone on and file manager still open?? then re-connecting phone with file manager still open from previous?? If so that may be problem, try closing F/M down before removing phone and connect phone before opening F/M. This way when F/M opens and searchs for device it finds a phone whilst at moment it has already searched and found nothing- worth a try.
