I upgraded to my P910 after trying an SX66 PPC Phone (after my p800). It always had little quirks that made it troublesome. It comfirmed the general feelings around the boards that if you need more pda than phone, go PocketPC. If you want a phone first, go p910.

I can do everything I did with the PocketPC except GPS (no TomTom or Route66 in the US), and it syncs alot better with my Mac.

good luck,
paul

I agree.
The P910 is still one of the most useful smartphones around.
Simple but still functional enough to accomplish most tasks without compromising quality.
Microsoft based phones are better for Microsoft Office docs and entertainment.
In my oppinion they are a overkill for most tasks people need in a smartphone.
Also the OS is terribly complex (jusl like windows) and you become stilus dependent.
I use my finger a lot to press buttons and stuff.

the only good thing about pocket pc's is that they have a reset button.

And you know why they have that button? Because of it's frequent crashes.

I own a Jam, iPaq H5550, and a Think60.

All crash ALOT! Plust I dont need to worry about losing any info with a PXXX because everything is saved nicely into the memory. Once your battery goes dead on a pocket pc, everything is gone.

Mine is 2 weeks old... Congratulations.

Let me also thank everybody for their info. I've been a daily reader of this forum for the last month, and it has helped me in my decision...
