I have exactly the same problem. Flashing gets stuck at 1/282 0%. GsMen told me in ICQ that personally, he feels the firmware will be released this week. It could also be in 2 or 3 weeks he said.

Yea, you need a service cable or someone with service tools to convert the phone back to Red for you.
It's a shame that people are unlocking phones and leaving them as brown though, I guess some people just do the bare minimum...
