@darky,

if youīre a java programmer, then you must know the is a fairl powerfull midp 2.0 device...it has:

java 3d
acess to bluetooth jsr
acess to file system and PIM functios jsr
etc

Just look at the hp print java app that comes with the phone - itīs almost like a symbian app. Other examples are bluejacking apps, gps apps, etc

From what i read in the SE developerīs site, after focusing in games, this year SE is focusing in java business and productivity apps, so we can expect some great stuff

About mophun, i think itīs dead

I had both a T610 (which broke) then a T630 and used both java and mophun. On these phones Mophun was far superior although no because of the games themselves, more like the java engines on the T630 was so crappy, took weeks to load, didn't go fullscreen, ran jerkily and crashed more often than not.

On the K7 series it's a completely different kettle of fish!. This series has a superb java engine that even supports proper 3D (try playing super real tennis or motoraver on a T series), plus is far faster and more stable than on the T series. I'm not sure whether you were being serious with your above quote but if you were then you really haven't seen what java games are out there have you. I've got well over a thousand of them, of them I currently have 16 on my phone. I've tested around 700 of them on my phone so far and I would estimate that over 200 hundred of them are titles I will want to play when I get the time. Some superb games by Gameloft, EA, Sumea, Capacom, Square Enix and Sega among them.

What good would mophun be these days?, what are SE in the mobile world?, fifth best brand?, something like that so who the hell is going to bother making mophun games for se phones when they can make java games which will work on all brands. Mophun always was an irrelevant platform hence it's death.
