When you do a pc format, ensure you're using the correct FAT system. I'm not sure what it should be though, i've never had to pc format a mmc myself yet... Formatted my corrupted 128mmc on my 6600 a while ago.

I once droped my Sony 128MB MS card in the bath while swapping it out

and apart from having to dry it with my GFs hairdryer nothing happened, it is still working perfectly today.

the card worked fine (ok, he had some probs) in his camera. but who cares
