There has been war in the middle east since the beginning of ages, mans exploration fo space has been going for a few decades (at least that we know of... there are people who believe space was exploed long long before as well
) there have always been incurable diseases until a cure was found, at which point new diseases emerged that were incurable. AIDS may not be curable now but since it's progress can be halted with medication it may well be curable one day.
If you want incurable you should look at the flu instead. now there's one bugger we cannot beat. Birdflu anyone? Now there's a real threat.
Does 'the end of the world' to all you people mean 'boom' and bye bye' or does it mean we wipe out mankind after which our planet will continue happily without us?
If the world ends it ends. I ask only one thing: don't save me, I don't want to be the last one alive.
Until the day comes I believe it's best to continue living life

Vlammetje although i do agree with what you have said you can't but help ignore these predictions and prophecys that one reads about...Just a little scary thats all,although i am not afraid to die one bit,i believe when your time comes it comes..I would'nt mind being the last man on earth though as long as i have Angelina Joli to company me we can both repopulate the planet!

sorry to the person who made this, but this thread frustrates me!! people think the work is coming to an end and all, its all bullcrap. yes, 90-11 happened, yes, the bombings happened... alot has happened. but its not like all of a sudden were all just going to start dying. the world is not coming to an end. and if it is, it will be way after allllllllllllll of us are gone anyway.
