I've owned a Nokia 6230 and D500. D500 beats the 6230 hands down. Better and bigger screen,and more sturdier build.
The only difference between the 6230 and 6230i (as far as I know) is the fascia and the 1Mp camera. Screen size is rubbish. I hate the multidirectional menu key on the Nokia 6230 and the 6230i models ... especially when playing the games yuo can never select the right
option as the key is so rubbish and small.
Apart from the entry level market, most Nokia phones are all going downhill these days.

D500 for sure, better design, screen, and for most users 90 mB of memory is enough

after having 2 of them get the 6230 mate, far beter, the non-expandable memory on the d500 will get on your nerves
