C'mon man, that's the whole point: He's a student and doesn't have a huge stack of money to donate to a lawyers retirement fund.
However, he can stand firm and resist thier intimidation, they may figure it's easier to buy him out.
BTW, you say you'd fight them with all your power; would that be X-ray vision, your superhuman strength, or telekenesis?

if she is actually going to take him to court, and he doesnt have a lawyer, he can go anyway. He never said it was Oprahs website, he neevr did anythign wring, he could go in and win. no matter how powerful oprah is and no matter how much money she has, shes NOT right, and she WONT win

Aaaah... If OxygenMedia takes him to court, that's a different thing. He could defend himself, provided he has a good legal position to defend from. All it takes is time, honesty and attention to detail.
Taking them to court though, would be a minefield which would cost millions...
Any updates Amnesia?

problem is, it's not only about the money. It's time.
They'll try their hardest to take me to the court in the US.
My advantage would be in the UK because we dont have similar internet laws to do with infringment.
(even though I am not infringing)
The lawyer hasn't said anything.
I'm going to send my law tutor an email and tell him to tell Oprah's lawyer that if he does NOT reply within a week then I will take it the case is settled unless they want to buy the domain from me.
It's a coincidence that the number of visitors has decreased by half isn't it?
Anyway, I dont want to put them into a state of defence.
It may be that they are waiting for me to slip up. Perhaps HOPE that I put something illegal on the site for example and then try to blackmail me. I dont know the way they work, but so far all is good.

You're right, they will try and get you into court in the U.S., but as far as I know, they'd need to sue you in the UK because that's where (they alledge) you tread on thier turf. Even though the net is a virtual medium and not a physical one, I don't think they'd be able to overcome this unless the U.S. has specific legislation for such situations.
