Ahh because faxes are way too slow. Email,especially over highspeed internet is much quicker. Sure faxing for 2-10 pages may be fine, but the polling for desktop email with Outlook/Entourage/Thunderbird/Mail/etc is much quicker. Plus you have upto 10MB to send in PDF/Word/photo content.
Now if you need faxing for the credit bureaus then I understand.

How can you e-mail a copy of an official document or invoice *on the move* ?
On the other hand this new camera may do the trick in most cases!
It's 2MP resolution and macro mode may make possible to e-mail a photo of the document. Which is satisfactory in most cases
BTW, I wish they included an OCR software (OCR=text recognition based on an image/photo).
We could point the camera to a text and OCR on the screen. It would be very useful.

i used to be a proud p900 owner, and have since 'upgraded' to a i-mate Jam (mda compact).
now i dont think i would ever go back! windows based mobiles are the way forward.
eventually our mobiles will be our laptop/phone/tv/radio all in one.
and i feel im halfway there with my i-mate.
