I don't have a backup phone, only my good old T68i over 3,5 years old But some years ago I bought one archaic phone just for fun. It's Ericsson GH 174, here is the picture. Pretty cool or what The other phone SE T105 in this picture belongs to my colleague.

Should I have one for back up?
I never thought of it. I suppose when the original
goes bad, market will wait for me with latest designed
one, or a phone of earlier time with a cheaper rate than
what it was.

1. P900 as a primary,using O2's 'genie' online PAYG.

2. Panasonic VS6 has CPW's Mobile World sim for overseas calls.
3. Nokia 3230 has the T-Mobile 'Mate's Rates' sim in.
4. Orange SPV c550 for all the Orange freebies like Orange Wednesdays, evening texts, etc.
5. Nokia 7600 with Vodafone's 'Stop the Clock' off-peak promotion.
