if you click on More from the main File Manager screen, the Format M.S. command should be on the list. doesn't it show up on yours?

@senninha, it's not like in the k750i/w800i/w900i/w810i...hitting on more gives only these 4 options : Send, Sort by, Memory status & Information

i bought a 512 MB M2 stick today !! no needs to format it, just stick it IN and will be workable !!
the actuall free memory is 472 MB ! I dont know where is the other MBs ??

When you connect the USB cable to the K610i .. you get 2 options in your phone display to choose between !!! File Transfer or Phone Usage ..
If you choose File Transfer .. the Memory Stick will appear as a Hard Drive in your Explorer ..
If you choose Phone Usage.. it will just work as a normal phone with the Sony Ericsson File Manager ..

Well i had Z800i .. i could see an option to format the MS .. but when i bught a W800i .. i noticed that option was droped !! and the K610i doesnt have it either ..
I wounder what do you want to do with that option ?? you can do it through your computer !!

to format mem stick its might be not the most important feature, but useful and not a big deal to put it in the fw, so i get the former poster, why he miss it....
