probably... but I have long since stopped predicting SE's actions and motives, but this does seem simple like an obvious omission in the K800 connectivity

I have to say that the DS970 is probably the best SE accessory I have ever bought. in multi point mode it has paired with my pc no problem and I'm streaming music from windows media player, with full control over the tracks and volume etc.
switching back to single point gives access back to my K800
excellent stuff! it just works as advertised!

from what i read in m-r, it displays song names when conected with m600, but not with k800 - i guess its a firmware probleme to be sorted later
Think you are spot on there.

@ads1107, no you can't listen to the radio since you have to plug the wired headset in before the radio will work and then the wired headset gets priority over the bluetooth one
In fact this is one point that annoys me a little. I'd be happy to have the wired headset plugged in with the phone and wired headset in my pocket, or bag or whatever and somehow still choose which headset gets the sound.
Why are we forced to use the wired headset only for radio!?

When using the headset and you choose a different equalizer setting on the phone e.g. bass or treble boost, does the headset realise this and change it automaticly?

yes it does, also if you select stereo widening you hear it in the headset too

Many thanks for that masseur. l did read somewhere that this didn't work with the headset, but they were obviously wrong! What is stereo widening btw?

the only thing that doesn't currently work between the K800 and DS970 is that the track details are not shown in the headset display (but this works with the M600)
No idea what stereo widening is technically, but I know I don't like the sound when it is turned on!
