Hey I live in the La Puente So Cal area and I'm currently using an upgraded T68m with T68i software version R5D007, does anyone do upgrades in this area and how much do you charge if you do, I'm looking to update my software, hoping this will fix some minor problems I'm currently having with my phone, please let me know.
Thanks!
Nick

Hey everyone,
Wow, it seems nice to be able to talk to people from familar places. I actually have T-Mobile and live in Covina, Ca. Everyone kinda intimidates me because I am totally lost, but I hope someone can help me.
I actually bought a T68M off of ebay. It is unlocked because I am able to make calls but a few days ago I added T-Zones to my account but have gotten nowhere. I have talked to customer service for hours the past few days but they just keep walking me through setting up a data account. I know how to do that but when I go to WAP settings I can only select Cingular home, Cingular roam, or Express. I do not get T-Zones anywhere.
Now from what I have been reading is that Cingular has some sort of lock in the WAP settings and the only way to get rid of it is upgrading it? Or is it changing the software?
It sounds like there are places to get this done. Is there anywhere local like in southern california? And how much does this cost? Sorry to bother everyone by asking questions that have been answered time and time again, but I just want to get everything clear.
Thanks in advnce,
Jess
