depends how big they are

if you're talking tens of MBs then it will take some time, but a few MBs is very quick for me (been transferring some music over last night)

I know its not P990 but I've been comparing 3g and browser performance on Tytn vs M600 on my way into the office and TyTN is waaay faster to get the page displayed and ready for clicking or scrolling

M600 seems to take an age sometimes. The progress bar sits at full width but no page is displayed. in this state, often I find that if I move the jogdial then it displays some of the page.

going through the 2 long tunnels that my train takes on the way up from the Gatwick area the M600 did lose signal sooner than the TyTN both times but they both regained the signal around the same time.

since WM2003 came out I've been saying how windows mobile device could use a jog dial and now here its, its brilliant! there is also a return key, much like on the M600 and also right under the jog dial

anyway, its early days but thats a little report from me so far...

masseur if you ever have a chance plz write us a short review about the tytn as I am conisdering getting one, just the main features as well as any links you might have for software / games and most importantly the bugs/ bad things about it.

I know there are reviews out there but it's different coming from a user ^^

so far, having used the k-jam for 10 months, I feel very comfortable and most things are the same.

just the external button position are in a different place the new jogdial and return key, the new keyboard closed windows and ok keys etc

there is also the small video calling camera on the front

I do notice, and like the slightly thiner housing and HTC supply a nice leather feel rather than nylon feel case

I'll certainly write more when I have checked it out but probably there won't be much to add to my review of the k-jam from last year

After a month or so with the M600 I'd forgotten how much I really like WM5!

anyway, as a tip for new users, go to start, settings, connections, bean and uncheck it.

you almost certainly wont be using IR all the time and this will save you some battery power by turning it off since it wont be hunting for devices

for some reason it is on by default (always has been since the first pocketpc devices) and you can easily turn it on when/if you really need to do some IR transfers

just for clarity, turning off the beam receive stops the IR and bluetooth beams.

no idea about network branding, I only buy unbranded

just look at these, for starters!
