I feel enlightened yet a little depressed. Even though my phone was from this same provider & unlocked and generic firmware with 1GB, I got a good deal. At the time 2 months ago Rogers Wireless was just releasing the 1GB model while everyone that had teh 512MB model was trying to sell off theirs for the same street price.
But now Rogers not only has the white case but ALSO this ...
(Brace yourselves)...
Just in time for Xmas season. Makes me wanna cry.

... futhermore Rogers just announced store availability of the K790i in black so the W810 drops in price.
There are so many phones I want to buy to play with .... Nokia N75, P990, M600, RIM 8700 ... but at current data rates NOT offering unlimited TRUE unlimited data .... I need a device with WiFi that isnt a killer on the wallet.
Common SE bring on a UIQ3 1-handed GUI K800 upgrade with WiFi+UMA support PLEASE!

One thing that I'm waiting intently for someone to create is a doc/pdf viewing app. This is possible as picsel have done it but don't sell it as a 3rd party app.
I have seen similar things but only through gprs.
Any ideas or rumours?

hi there SE fans, i just bought a W810i for 2 days ago, and I wanted to ask u guys if its possible to change the icons from the main menu? They are so ugly and do not match with the beauty of the phone. First i was thinking that if I change the theme than should the icons change too, but that didn't happened... I bought my Phone from Orange and I think that they may have branded the phone withe theirs Icons. There must be a way to change them; if there is some1 who know something about this matter please reply!

The icons are part of the software and can only be changed by flashing the phone. I too have a branded phone, but have learned to live with it somewhat (mainly because I can't get mine flashed locally and don't have a credit card).

Looks like ur phone is branded. U may have to debrand it using a third party - wotanserver or davinci team.
My w810 is on orange also but my brother in d u.k debranded it b4 sending it.

Easy just type d number in keypad that represents the menu icon. Eg. To enter ur inbox, PRESS: menu,5,2.
To enter pictures, PRESS: menu,7,1.
