Can anyone tell me the restrictions vodafone put on the w810? Getting mine nexy week and want to know what I'm in for. Can you update OTA? How many game demos? Mp3/4 restrictions? Button functions changed? Anything.

Phonebook can be backed up to the memory stick. Go into the phonebook options and there should be an option in there of in one of the sub menu's.
On an SMS message just select the MORE tag and select save message. Saves it to your sim card
Games, pics, apps etc Highlight them and press MORE then Manage File, Move, Memory Stick then select which folder you want to put them in and select Paste.

"features" missing, like ota updates and backup phonebook to
sim. we didn't have any trouble with mp3 songs or ringtones.
main menu appers to be re-arranged as well.

You can update W810 OTA, from setting?general?update service, but i haven't tried it yet, so cant be sure about the whole process. Any java games can be played, go to
www.gsmhacks.com to download lots of java games.

I just downloaded some games today on my w810i and I notice that the sound doesnt work on the speakers. When I put the headphone in I can hear sounds on the headphone but not the speakers. I tested all games and they only have sound on headphones. I dont know if this is normal, since I never really played games on the phone. Is the sound on games suppose to come out on speakers?

Could be your profiles got mixed up. Check your profiles and if necessary go from one profile to another and back. Might sort it out.
