gave up. orange are so unreliable.
just walked into my vodafone store, 3 in stock so had to get one. 500mins anytime/network, 500 texts, 3 months half price line rental, 3 months free insurance - 35 quid a month.
oh yer, and a free handset too.
now that is a real company!
well pleased. now on charge!

can anyone say how to get the applications icon on standby in flip closed mode.....orange branded phone makes the applications icon ONLY visible when flip open

my gut feeling is that it will be branded but then again past experiance has shown me that when some phones r in short supply they can slip through the branding net !

Orange have gone over the top with the branding.
The phone is dreadful. Orange icons down the side (Cant be reomoved) Orange Icons that looks like horrible.
15% of the menus have been removed so you cant change the phone.
There have been loads of complaints about the phone crashing, slow, unresponsive and just general not working correctly and i can tell you that its a high return as people hate what Orange have done.
Im still On Orange but got a sim free one on my o2 contract and god its 50% faster in every aspect, everything works like it should do and no horrible icons.

today ive left the phone at home cos im still wating on my silicone case for it as well as my 2gig card! Cheers for the pics man ! looks like the unbranded phone looks more like my trusty old p900 which i am sooo used to rather than the orange branded version i have. To be honest i guess its all a matter of time b4 i can master the phone but all i want though for starters is to list all the apps i have in one list rather than having to dig about for various settings. so far ( i havent registered the handset just yet), ive found the wireless lan works great the browser seems cool too and i actually liked the sound quality of the headphone (i was suprised!). Im missing certain apps like sman etc for file managing as well as keeping the memory fresh. I noticed though just running a few apps made the ram run down to like 2mb very quick but the phone as been sorta stable. HAve noticed that you do seem to have to pull out the stylus a bit for things in FO mode rather than jog dialing to an item and selecting. MMMmmmm im just gonna have to get used to this new baby will take sum pics when i get a chance proberbly tonite
al;though ive been up since 5:30 now so the chances r looking slim !!!
