OK

Gently place the phone face down on a towel on a hard work top.

Grip the sides of the phone with thumb and fore finger.

With free hand put a degree of pressure in the middle of the battery cover about 5 to 8 mm below the top of the cover.

Whilst maintaining the pressure pull the battery cover down.

That should do the trick

when you finally get the cover off you'll see why it's a pain - there are
2 spring like clips about half way down as well as the ones where the
battery cover meets the back cover !!
I finally got mine to come off regularly by using the heel of my palm and
a left to right rocking motion whilst it's lying on a lens cloth - this seems
to release the top clips as well as the side ones

I'm not talking specifically about the OS. On the W550i and probably other Sony Erricsons, there are Themes that change the whole layout of the menu's. I was saying is there a theme similar to that, that anyone knows of, or is there anyone on here that can edit/create themes. Because on the film, it looks very simple. I'm looking for a black/silver theme basically, that gives the menu a new look, it doesn't have to necessarily be an OS, just one of the themes that changes the menu from the colourful Erricson style?

Zack.
