I have my wii too! Also managed to get wii play with extra remote.
Cant play it yet, stuck at work (i'll have a little play at lunch if i can).

I got the zelda package and wii play on the side. The thing is, they had a large package with two remotes and zelda for 3800kr, and they got confused when i said i wanted wii play, so there was no price difference in the end (would have had to pay 4000kr, so i got a rebate

its stupid. why do these people buy them just to sell them for double or triple the price. what if somebody like me really wanted a wii but i didn't get one due to all these a**holes buying them for the original retail price then selling them for so much more.

Totally agree!
My wii is sitting next to the TV and thats where it will stay (even if some are selling for £300+).

Lol, its funny really: its all about if you have the time to either pre-order or queue to get one. Whether or not someone else gets it and sells it on, or keeps it - the issue shouldn't be people complaining that "they" are selling it for double. S & D, dont want to make the post boring with simple economic theory, but at least you can still get a wii (off ebay, but at a higher rate - i paid £550 for my xbox 360 last year due to stock shortages).
I only had to queue for like 30 mins, got a ticket number (blagged it as got 5 friends together - store had 7 in stock), and went back at midnight to collect.
Its actually really a very good console, from design to playability
Played with one till 6am last night - tennis is pure quality
and then went to get some more Wii's
Had more fun playing with the Wii than my 360, but Gears of War in HD is something else - nothing to do with "fun", just amazement (like Halo on xbox, or MGS on ps1)
I'd buy every console just to see what it offers, not really to make money, but if it more than doubles in price, and i keep still keep one, why not....
Hope everyone is having fun with their Wii's - i'm going to struggle with studying now that 3rd yr assignments are due in next week - at least i wont be bored over xmas
