its better to have one. Its good to be able to try a demo of a game before buying it, and you can download them off the marketplace for free (each demo takes up roughly 800mb). I cant remember if you have to have a gold membrshp for that or not lol

Well if you aint guessed Test Drive Unlimited for starters if you want a massive car game which in my opinion makes use of xbox live fantastically. Other top titles are Pro Evolution 6, Call Of Duty 3 oh and not forgetting Gears of War

by definition not a bigger hd, you need a hd!!!
i got core system but couldn't save any progress or stats or what so ever cause xbox360 doesn't have a storage drive!!!
so you NEED the hd, unless you like starting over and over again.

You dont need a HD because you can use a Xbox 360 Memory Unit (64MB), but a HD is a much better option as it works out loads cheaper. Plus you wont be able to download any demos as there isn't not enough space on the Memory Unit (64MB)

@dan afaik blockbusters are still doing the premium console for £249.99 with very limited stocks. If i were you i would look for that, or buy a nicely priced bundle deal from Gamestation rather than piece together peripherals for a Core console. You'll save yourself ££ in the long run
