I just checked again... Lol. You can't use the radio but you can activate bluetooth but it warns you that you are in flight mode first.

In relation to housings, is there a disassemble guide for this phone? I would like to clean some dust under the screen.

To clean dust from under w610i screen:
You need: tiny torx or star bit screwdriver, something pointy to pry with, patience, and clean cloth.

My local wireless store person just happened to have the same phone and problem, and nicely let me use his screwdriver (which said T6-60 on it) and dentist-looking 90-degree pointy pry bar, and showed me how to do it.

1. Turn off.
2. Take off the battery cover.
3. Take out battery, SIM, and memory card for good measure.
4. Use sharp pry bar to pull up cover near camera's flash and remove upper part of the back cover. Be gentle - this looks easy to break.
5. Remove the 4 screws in the corners of the phone.
6. Gently pull the black and gray halves apart. Have patience.
7. The outer screen will come with the gray half, and the actual LCD will stay with the black. Clean them both very gently, perhaps with alcohol and a lint free cloth or other camera lens/glasses type cleaning systems. My guess is these inner surfaces are much easier to scratch than the outer one.
8. Reassemble the phone doing these steps backward.
9. Enjoy a clear view!
